David Bright is an executive and mental performance coach who earned his PhD from Penn State University. David relies upon evidence-based cognitive behavior and motivational interviewing techniques to encourage client change and often draws upon his experience as a career coach, a mental health therapist, and executive functioning coach to holistically address all client needs. He strives to empower everyone he works with by investing in a warm and supportive coach-client relationship, which he views as essential to sustained growth and success. 

David has worked extensively with athletes and executives on addressing issues related to performance anxiety, wellness & self care, routines & goal setting, and navigating career transitions. His diverse experience in settings such as public and private universities and the business world provide him the perspectives and flexibility necessary to adapt to individual client needs. As a published researcher and author on the topics of  stress management and career development, David is well abreast of the latest research and evidence based approaches to respond to a variety of client concerns. 

David grew up in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania and was a standout football player in high school. In his free time he enjoys reading, writing, hiking, recreational sports, and playing games of all types (card, board, and video).
