Dr. Angus Mugford is the Director of High Performance for the Toronto Blue Jays, where he focuses on helping people achieve their potential. Angus is originally from the UK, but went through graduate school in the United States and has worked as a mental performance specialist for over 15 years. In the last year he was recognized by his peers as a fellow and elected president of the Association for Applied Sport Psychology. He previously worked at IMG Academy in Florida, where he led the mental conditioning department and ran programs with elite junior and professional athletes and coaches across the ATP/ WTA tennis tours, as well as the NFL, NBA, MLB and track and field. He also led integrated programs for the US Military Special Operations community, in addition to working with corporate executives and others looking to achieve high performance.
