Jorge Aguilar, MD, PhD

Mental Performance Coach

Jorge Aguilar, MD PhD is a mental performance coach with particular interest in athletic performance. He is a senior resident at Montefiore Medical Center, where he is specializing in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry. He obtained his MD and PhD from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.

He grew up in the South Bronx and was a varsity athlete and team captain in Baseball and Soccer in High School, and a 3-year NCAA Division III Cross Country and Track & Field athlete at Swarthmore College, where he graduated President of his class. He was also the Head Coach of the 2010 Harlem Little League World Series tournament team.

In his free time, Dr. Aguilar enjoys training for marathons & half-marathons, and spending time with his family and 2 dogs.
