Michael Dulchin, MD is a psychiatrist with a particular interest in both the physical and mental aspects of performance. He is an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the New York University Medical Center and co-founder of Union Square Practice, where he works with clients including physicians, athletes, and other elite performers to understand the cognitive, emotional, and physiological aspects of peak functioning. Dr. Dulchin served as the Director of Inpatient Psychiatry at NYU Medical Center for 10 years, where he won the Teacher of the Year award in 2013. He draws on this experience as well as his personal experience as a coach of youth athletics, rock climber, and skier to help others succeed in a range of competitive settings.
